Coronavirus (Covid-19) Information

Updated July 10, 2020

St. Clare Living Community of Mora is dedicated to continuing to provide the quality, compassionate care our residents and tenants need and expect from us through this pandemic.  We have put many measures in place to prepare our community and we are closely following the guidance from the Centers for Disease Control, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the State of MN Department of Health.

What are we doing to ensure resident and staff safety?

  • Carefully monitoring and implementing any new guidance coming out

  • We have implemented infection control practices and screening procedures, which includes screening each employee and essential worker for signs and symptoms prior to entering the building.

  • Staff are using all recommended personal protective equipment and residents and tenants are also given face masks to wear when in the presence of others.

  • We have implemented additional audits of our standard cleaning procedures to ensure good infection control practices.

What are our visitor policies?

As of today, guidelines still restrict visitors from freely accessing our settings.  We are doing everything we can to ensure that our residents can stay connected to their loved ones through this isolating time.  We offer virtual visits that can be set up by our staff and we also are offering outdoor visits, following the State of Minnesota guidelines.  We understand how difficult this is for family and friends and your help in keeping all of our residents safe by using the virtual and outdoor visits is truly appreciated.

If you would like to set up a virtual or outdoor visit, you can email stclareconnect@lsfhealth.org, or call 320-679-8322 to schedule time with your loved one.

The State of Minnesota released guidance on setting up Essential Caregiver visits on July 10th.  We are reviewing the guidance and will update this information accordingly.

Are we accepting new residents?

Yes, as we are able, we are accepting new residents and tenants.  Contact us for details about how we are keeping new and current residents safe as they transition in and out of the facility.
