OTR/L JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated full time or part time Occupational Therapist - OTR/L (Registered/Licensed) to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will utilize your expertise to assess, plan, and implement personalized therapy programs that enhance patients' independence and quality of life. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB.

    • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients’ physical, cognitive, and sensory abilities to develop tailored occupational therapy plans.

    • Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility to promote independence.

    • Design and implement therapeutic interventions for our populations recovering from injury, surgery or illness.

    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans, discharge planning, and case management strategies ensuring seamless patient transitions across settings.

    • Provide education and training to patients and families on adaptive techniques, equipment use, and safety measures at home or in clinical environments.

    • Document patient progress meticulously in compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain accurate medical records.
